St. Louis Association for Gifted Education: About Us

History
St. Louis Association for Gifted Education (SAGE) is a non-profit organization whose primary focus is the enhancement of academic, social, and emotional well-being of gifted and high potential individuals. SAGE provides resources, support, and information to educators, parents, students, and others who have specialized needs because they serve or are members of the gifted population.

Founded in 1978, SAGE merged with Friends of the Gifted in 1984 to form the largest all-volunteer agency in the St. Louis area dedicated to meeting this goal.

Funding comes from book fairs, memberships, activities, grants, and donations.
